Deborah Chodacki Master Class
Deborah Chodacki has performed and taught throughout the United States, in Canada, South America, Eastern and Western Europe, and in Asia. She has been a clarinet professor on the faculties of the University of Michigan School of Music, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Louisiana State University School of Music, and East Carolina University and has appeared at numerous summer music festivals in the USA and abroad. Deborah has performed and taught master classes at previous ICA ClarinetFest gatherings. Her former students have earned positions performing and teaching appointments across America and abroad including such organizations as: The Philadelphia Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Colorado University in Boulder CO, Curtis Institute of Music, President’s Own Military Band, West Point Academy Band, Imani Winds, among many others. Deborah earned her college degrees at the Eastman School of Music and Northwestern University where she studied with Stanley Hasty and Robert Marcellus.
