Letter to the Editor: Mystery Clarinetist

Hi everyone,
In going through some old mini-discs, I re-discovered dubs of a cassette tape a university student in the 90’s shared with me. It seems his high school music teacher got this tape from overseas, from a clarinet student wondering if they were good enough to get into university here! It’s fantastic playing, virtuoso double-tonguing, super high-range, chordal multiphonics. I’ve separated into 2 dubs on Youtube: one with classical transcriptions, I think entirely of violin music, and another of unaccompanied contemporary playing (that may be all improvised!).
I have no idea who this is, and please note I am not making any money from this; I just want everyone to have a chance to hear this fantastic playing!
