ClarinetFest® 2026: General Call for Proposals

Application Deadline – October 1, 2025

International Clarinet Association members are invited to submit performance and presentation proposals for ClarinetFest® 2026, which will take place in Incheon, South Korea, July 8-12 at the Songdo ConvensiA. Special consideration will be given to proposals matching or closely related to the main theme, “Local Roots, Global Connections” for this conference.

2026 Artistic Leadership Team would like to invite all proposals, including those that feature and support clarinetists, composers, and musicians from this region, while exploring the following key concepts:
  • Fusion of traditional and modern musical elements
  • Exploration of diverse cultural influences
  • Collaborative approaches across borders and genres

Please note that proposals shall not exceed 25 minutes in length. No more than one application will be considered for each applicant, including chamber ensemble performances and lectures. The ICA and ALT cannot commit to the programming of works that require significant financial contribution beyond the projected budget. In this situation, the proposal artist and/or their sponsors are responsible for communicating upfront about how these additional expenses will be secured to determine if the Artist/sponsor contribution will be sufficient to accommodate the performance.
