Youth Involvement Committee Virtual Series - Final Boss: Mock Audition Masterclass

Throughout 2026, the ICA Youth Involvement Committee has been running a virtual series for middle and high school students about how to tackle the the most common struggles for young musicians.

From building fundamentals to establishing good practice habits to surviving the grind, these sessions have prepared you for this moment – the final test, the one that we look forward to and fear all at the same time.

The Audition.

On Saturday, October 24 at 3:00pm EST, the ICA Youth Involvement Committee’s 2026 series for middle and high school students will culminate in strategies for the “final boss”: a mock audition masterclass and workshop.

In this session, students will learn what panelists hear – and what they want to hear – in audition settings. This workshop is designed to help students prepare for and succeed in auditions, no matter where they are in their clarinet journey.

The event is a free virtual session that you can attend online from anywhere in the world, but registration and ICA membership are required.
