Part of the ICA mission is to create a community of clarinetists from around the world. We would like to start an initiative to find clarinetists from every country in the world and feature clarinetists from as many countries as possible to learn more about the clarinet and other cultures.
In a Facebook post this past week, we found out that the ICA is represented in dozens of different countries from around the world, which you can see on the map below. (Keep in mind that this was an informal study limited by those who chose to comment on this Facebook post, and we have many members in countries which are not indicated on this map.)
One of the greatest benefits of music is sharing it with others, and by sharing ideas across our international network of clarinetists, we hope to inspire and engage this global community. We would like to feature as many different cultures and countries as possible, so leave a comment below with where you’re from and what the clarinet community is like in your country!
