ICA Teams Up with Michigan State University Students
by Jessica Harrie
In January of 2025, the International Clarinet Association was selected as a collaborating organization for the ITM 444 course in the Eli Broad School of Business. This course’s capstone project allow students to work with outside organizations to learn skills in business project management in preparation of entering the business field.
The course is led by Professors Dr. Tom Day and Teagan Dixon. The students assigned to the ICA’s project assisted in data cleaning for the move to a new Membership Management System, providing branding guidance and auditing of the ICA’s website and social media platforms for user experience, and also assisted with the implementation of the ICA’s first Google Ad Grant campaigns.
The ICA is grateful to Professors Day and Dixon for selecting the ICA for this project and to the students for their fantastic work. We wish them all the best in their careers following their graduation this month.
