The ICA is excited to announce the next LowFest will be held in Québec City, Canada! Mélanie Bourassa will serve as Artistic Director and her Artistic Leadership Team includes the following members of the Canadian Bass Clarinet Association: Christine Carter, Marie-Julie Chagnon, André Moisan, Marie Picard, and Eileen Walsh.
Although the previous LowFests were held in January, the next event will take place October 24-27, 2027, at Université Laval. October is an ideal time to visit Québec City—not only is this the prime time to experience the beautiful fall colours in this historic city, but the weather in Canada will be more hospitable in October than in January.
