Low Clarinet Festival 2025
Calling all alto, basset horn, bass, contra-alto, and contrabass clarinetists to Glendale, Arizona for the 2nd biennial International Clarinet Association Low Clarinet Festival January 8-11, 2025 at Glendale Community College. Artistic Director Stefanie Gardner will be assisted by members of the Artistic Leadership Team: Amy Advocat, Jason Alder, Jeff Anderle, Matthew Banks, Lara Diaz, Joshua Gardner, Andy Hudson, Lorenzo Antonio Iosco, Mike Lowenstern, Jon Russell, Fie Schouten, Sebastian Tozzola, and Sarah Watts.
Glendale is part of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area and is only a 20-minute drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
This four-day event will feature:
- Solo, chamber, and non-traditional performances featuring low clarinets (alto clarinet, basset horn, bass clarinet, contra-alto, and contrabass clarinets)
- Masterclasses
- Jam Sessions open to all
- Presentations/Clinics
- Young Artist and High School Competitions
- Composition Competition
- Low Clarinet Choir
- Exhibits with sheet music, instruments, mouthpieces, reeds, ligatures, cases, repair stations, and everything low clarinet!
Forward Together – This event welcomes all low clarinet lovers through a celebration of its past, present and future, and is open to anyone who enjoys low clarinets and wants to spend some quality time with other low clarinet enthusiasts from around the world!

Invitamos a todos los intérpretes de clarinete alto, corno di bassetto, clarinete bajo, clarinete contralto y clarinete contrabajo al 2º Low Clarinet Festival (Festival bienal de clarinetes graves) de la Asociación Internacional de Clarinete (ICA), que se celebrará del 8 al 11 de enero de 2025 en el Glendale Community College, en Glendale, Arizona (EEUU). La directora artística, Stefanie Gardner, contará con la asistencia de los miembros del comité artístico del Festival de Clarinetes Graves: Amy Advocat, Jason Alder, Jeff Anderle, Matthew Banks, Lara Diaz, Joshua Gardner, Andy Hudson, Lorenzo Antonio Iosco, Mike Lowenstern, Jon Russell, Fie Schouten, Sebastian Tozzola y Sarah Watts.
