ClarinetFest® 2027 – Salt Lake City, Utah

ClarinetFest® 2027 will be held July 7 – 11, 2027, in Salt Lake City, Utah!

ClarinetFest® 2027 will be held at the University of Utah, just 15 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport and 10 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. Connected to the airport by the UTA Trax Public Transit, Salt Lake City offers an abundance of lodging, shopping, parks, and dining. Major attractions include Abravanel Hall, Delta Center, Temple Square, State Capitol, Utah Museum of Natural History, Cottonwood Canyons, and more. Only 3-4 hours away are the NPS “Mighty Five” – Arches, Bryce, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, and Zion. Also, Utah boasts many amazing state parks such as Antelope Island, Dead Horse, Great Salt Lake, Wasatch Mountain, and more! Come experience “Life Elevated” in our beautiful state! 

There are several public transportation options from the SLC International Airport to downtown SLC with train and bus services. Taxis are also available. 

The ICA will be arranging room blocks at a discounted rate for Little America Hotel near the University of Utah. 

The ClarinetFest® 2027 Artistic Leadership Team is dedicated to the International Clarinet Association’s Statement of Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion (https://clarinet.org/about/ica-policies/) and recognizes the importance of representation within the clarinet community at this event. As such, the ALT will be organizing featured events that represent a variety of global music styles and traditions and also compositions whose composers and/or performers are members of a marginalized and/or protected community.
