이세연 (Se-Yeon Lee)
Fifteen-year-old clarinetist Se-Yeon Lee is a distinguished prodigy recognized for her exceptional artistry and technical mastery. In 2026, she achieved a rare academic milestone by gaining early admission to the Korea National University of Arts (K-ARTS) at the age of 15, following her studies as a merit scholarship student at Sunhwa Arts Middle School and the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts.
In 2024, she gained international acclaim by becoming the youngest winner in the history of the ICA International Clarinet Association Competition held in Dublin, Ireland. This global achievement is supported by her dominance in Korea’s most prestigious competitions, including two-time 1st prizes at the Ewha and Kyunghyang Music Competition (2022, 2024), as well as top honors at the Seoul National University, Sungjung, and Music Chunchoo competitions.
Se-Yeon has established herself as a formidable soloist on major stages. In 2025, she won the Buffet Crampon Clarinet Competition and the Grand Prize at the Seoul Orchestra Competition, leading to a concerto collaboration. Her 2025 season also features a Kumho Prodigy Concert solo recital, a Shinhan Live Classic recital, and a concerto performance at the Sunhwa Arts Middle School Regular Concert. With a Special Prize from the Osaka International Music Competition, Se-Yeon Lee is rapidly emerging as a leading figure in the next generation of international clarinetists.
이도영 (Do-Yeong Lee)
Thirteen-year-old clarinetist Do-Yeong Lee is a rising prodigy at the Korea National xnstitute for the Gifted in Arts. In 2025, she achieved a historic milestone as the youngest winner in the history of the ICA International Clarinet Association Competition in Texas, USA. Her competitive career is marked by top honors at Korea’s most prestigious events, including 1st Prize at the Ewha and Kyunghyang Music Competition (2023, 2025), the Buffet Crampon Clarinet Competition, and the SNU National Wind Instrument Competition.
An active performer, she was invited to perform at the 2025 Tongyeong International Music Festival (TIMF) Showcase and debuted with a Kumho Prodigy Concert solo recital in 2024. She has appeared as a soloist with the Rium Chamber Orchestra and Incheon YMCA Youth Orchestra. Her artistry has been showcased at the Lotte Concert Hall and on KBS’s Who’s the Best, establishing her as one of the most promising young clarinetists on the international stage.
