Lindsay Carr Bartlett brings a uniquely multifaceted background in arts leadership, education, coaching, and performance to her new role with the International Clarinet Association. A Richmond, Virginia native, she holds degrees in music education (James Madison University) and flute performance, including graduate study at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and an intensive year working with renowned flutist Trevor Wye in England. Lindsay has served in leadership roles with arts, education, and community-focused nonprofits, developing programs, building partnerships, and supporting mission-driven work in Lincoln, Nebraska and beyond.

Alongside her administrative and strategic work, Lindsay maintains a vibrant portfolio career as a performer, private flute instructor, and certified youth coach. She has performed at multiple National Flute Association conventions and currently plays with Coro di Flauti, La Dolce Vita Duo, and the Nebraska Chamber Players. She also serves as President of the Lincoln Music Teachers Association, where she supports regional educators and student musicians.

Lindsay is passionate about helping organizations and individuals grow—whether through program development, mentoring young artists, or coaching teens as they navigate identity, priorities, and confidence. She is excited to bring her creativity, collaborative energy, and relationship-building strengths to ICA, supporting its ongoing mission to connect, serve, and elevate the clarinet community.
