ClarinetFest® 2025

ClarinetFest® 2025 will take place in beautiful Fort Worth, Texas, July 9-13. The Artistic Leadership Team consists of Jennifer Daffinee, Shawn Copeland, Jody Webb, Andrea Vos-Rochefort, Corey Mackey, Season Cowley, Cheyenne Cruz, Karen Bronson, Gary Whitman, and Artistic Director, Mary Alice Druhan.

The theme for 2025 is “TRANSCENDING TRADITIONS” – While celebrating the storied legacy of the clarinet, the membership is encouraged to also explore beyond the traditional mainstream to showcase clinics and performances that reflect a wider view of the instrument’s journey within our connected world and allow our community to discover new avenues of expression.

ClarinetFest® 2025 will be held at the Omni Hotel Fort Worth and Fort Worth Convention Center, just 25 miles from the DFW International Airport. These conference sites are adjacent buildings, providing attendees quick and easy access to all events. In the heart of Fort Worth, the event will be held along the vintage-style transit, “Molly the Trolley” which provides free, quick, and convenient travel throughout the downtown area. Molly also stops at Fort Worth Central Station where attendees can access the commuter rail via Trinity Railway Express (access to points between Dallas and Fort Worth), TEXRail (access to DFW Airport, Terminal B), Amtrak, Trinity Metro bus services, bike rentals or rental cars.

Major cultural attractions in the downtown and adjacent areas include the Fort Worth Water Gardens, Sundance Square, the Fort Worth Stockyards, the Fort Worth Zoo, the Botanical Gardens, the Texas Motor Speedway, Trinity Trails, the Trinity River, the Fort Worth Ale-Trail, the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, and much more! In addition, attendees can stay busy with all of the surrounding shopping venues and eateries.

The ICA will be arranging discounted price points for local hotels for ClarinetFest® 2025 attendees, with multiple options all around the conference site. The Omni Fort Worth Hotel is offering ClarinetFest® 2025 attendees onsite lodging ranging from $155 single/double to $175 triple/quad per night. The Omni is offering a 10% discount for valet parking at the hotel and there is additional garage and street parking throughout Sundance Square to accommodate attendees. A reservation  link will be available in late 2024.

The ClarinetFest® 2025 Artistic Leadership Team is dedicated to the International Clarinet Association’s Statement of Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion (https://clarinet.org/about/ica-policies/) and recognizes the importance of representation within the clarinet community at this event. As such, the ALT will be organizing featured events that represent a variety of world music styles and traditions and also compositions whose composers and/or performers are members of a marginalized and/or protected community.
