Reunions at ClarinetFest® 2023
When a cherished organization turns 50, it’s time to gather and celebrate! The Artistic Leadership Team of ClarinetFest® 2023 and the International Clarinet Association invites and encourages its members to organize reunions and strengthen connections old and new during the 50th Anniversary ClarinetFest® conference, July 5 – 9, 2023 in Denver, Colorado.
A social highlight of ClarinetFest® 2023 will be the gathering of organized reunions. These reunions may be created for any reason; students and former teachers can reconnect, past and current members of clarinet studios can gather, old band mates or graduating classes can arrange to meet each other again. Any motivation is encouraged!
Reunions are a wonderful way to connect with people who once played an important daily part of your life. For some, a reunion will be an opportunity to reconnect with the clarinet itself, and for many, it will encourage them to attend ClarinetFest® for the first time or possibly for the first time in a long time.
During ClarinetFest® 2023, reunions can be held at any point in time and at any location. The Dave and Busters across the street from The Westin Westminster is a very large restaurant with ample space, and they have reserved a large section for any registered ClarinetFest® reunion. There are also possibilities at many of the nearby restaurants.
Reunions have always been a yearly part of ClarinetFest® conferences and “registration” or “submission” of information has never been required. This time, we want to highlight and celebrate when a reunion occurs. We ask your reunion organizer to submit information to the Artistic Leadership Team of ClarinetFest® 2023 so that we can celebrate this act of coming-together via social media and in other ways that celebrate community. Additionally, by registering your reunion with the ClarinetFest® 2023 social committee (via the submission form below) you can access help with suggestions for planning your gathering.
